     Richilde of Germany married Kuno of Ohningen.^2,3

     Rudolph I of Germany was born circa 1017.² He married first Maud of Germany, daughter of Henry III of Germany and Agnes of Poitou, in 1059.³ He married second Adelaide of Maurienne, daughter of Odo I of Maurienne and Adelaide von Susa, after 1067.² Rudolph I of Germany was killed at Eister on 15 October 1080.^4,5

     Rudolph was elected Emperor by the German Princes during Henry IV's abode in Italy in 1077. After he fought nine battles and lost his right hand he exclaimed against the bishops who had persuaded him to rebel against Henry.

     Selvaggia of Germany married Eccelin da Romano.¹

     Sofia of Germany married Godfrey I of Louvain & Brabant, son of Henry II of Louvain and Adelaide of Betuwe.¹

     Agnes de Gernet married John de Curwen.¹

     Alice de Gernet married first William de Lancaster, son of John de Lancaster and Elizabeth, before 1329.¹ Alice de Gernet married second John de Washington, son of Robert de Washington and Agnes le Gentyl.² Alice died circa 1370.²

     According to Burke's Peerage, after the death of Sir William de Lancaster of Howgill in 1367 [sic] Aline (Eleanor) Garnet, married John de Washington, forebear of George Washington, first President of the United States. These were second marriages for both and they had no children by this union.¹

     I question whether the above is accurate. If she was John de Washington's second wife the marriage would have to have been after John's son was born in 1385. However, Joan, wife of John de Washington, survived John. "In or before 1408, Joan widow of John Washington, gave her son John tenements in Dalton, Hutton, Over Kellet."³. Another source says Eleanor Garnet died in 1370 and indicates she was the first wife of John de Washington.² So if Alice and Eleanor are the same individual she would have to have been the first wife of John de Washington and not his second. Further, "John de Washington of Caton and Alice his wife claim dower in ten messuages, &c., in Dalton against Alice de Rydal in 1366."³ If this is the same John de Washington, then it would indicated he was married to Alice prior to his marriage to Joan.

     Alice was also known as Eleanor, Alina.²

     Ralph de Gernon was born circa 1228.² He married first Eleanor de Vere, daughter of Robert de Vere and Isabel de Bolbec. He married second Hawise Tregoz. Ralph died in 1274.²

     Ralph was also known as [Sir] Ralph de Gernon.

     William Gerrard [Esq.] married Cecilia Lawrence, daughter of Thomas Lawrence and Anne English.¹

     Maachah of Geshur married Jesse, son of Obed.²

     Stephen of Gevaudan married Atlips d'Anjou, daughter of Fulk II d'Anjou and Gerberga of the Gatinias.¹

     Eimilde de Gevaudun married Rotbaud I of Provence.¹

     Wenemar I of Ghent married Gisele de Guisnes, daughter of Baldwin I de Guisnes and Adela of Holland.² Wenemar died after 1140.²

     Wickmann II of Ghent married Liutgarde de Flanders, daughter of Arnulf I de Flanders and Adelaide de Vermandois, in 950.² Wickmann died in 983.²

     Anne Gibbon married George Pixe.¹

     Edmond Gibbon married Anne ?.¹

     Elizabeth Gibbon married Richard Allard.¹

     Gervas Gibbon was born circa 1574 in Glassenbury, Kent, England.¹ He married Grisilde Roberts, daughter of Walter Roberts and Frances Maynard.^2,1 Gervas died between 4 January 1595 and 10 April 1595.³

     Gervas was also known as Jervas Gybbone.
