     Nathan Nicodemus Lawrence was born on 22 August 1812 in Randolph Co., North Carolina.¹ He married Penninah Webb on 1 October 1835 in Duck Creek, Henry Co., Indiana.¹ Nathan died on 10 June 1862 in Plainfield, Hendricks Co., Indiana, at age 49.¹ He was interred in Sugar Grove Friends Burying Ground in Hendricks Co., Indiana.¹

     Nathaniel Lawrence was born on 15 October 1639.¹ Conflicting evidence states that Nathaniel Lawrence was born on 15 August 1639 in Watertown, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts.² He married first Sarah Morse, daughter of John Morse, on 13 March 1660 in Sudbury, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts.^3,4,2 Nathaniel married second Hannah Longley on 9 November 1685 in Charlestown, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts.^5,2 Nathaniel died on 14 April 1724 in Lexington, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, at age 84.^5,2

     Needham Lawrence was born on 28 November 1778 in Randolph Co., North Carolina.^1,2 He married Polly Latham on 8 March 1804 in Randolph Co., North Carolina.¹

     Needham Lawrence was born on 23 March 1809.¹ He married Gillie Holland, daughter of Wiley Holland and Chancey ?.¹ Needham died in July 1890 in Chatham Co., North Carolina, at age 81.¹

     It has not been proven that this Needham is a son son of Needham Lawrence and Polly Latham.

     Nehemiah Lawrence was born circa 1728. Nehemiah married first Unknown ?.¹ He married second Betsey Smith.¹ He married third Abigail Burrell, daughter of Charles Burrell, in 1787.¹ Nehemiah died on 2 July 1800.

     Nehemiah had four children by his first two wifes, names unknown.¹

     Nellie Lawrence was born circa 1902 in Barren Co., Kentucky.¹ She married Silas Manley.¹

     Nellie was also known as Nell.

     Nellie Lawrence was born circa 1887.¹ She married Arvie? Cox.²

     Nellie E. Lawrence was born on 9 September 1805 in Ashboro, Randolph Co., North Carolina.¹ She married Charles Moffitt circa 2 February 1826 in Randolph Co., North Carolina.² Nellie died on 29 May 1893 in Randolph Co., North Carolina, at age 87.^1,2 She was interred in Shiloh Christian Church in Randolph Co., North Carolina.²

     Nellie M. Lawrence was born in June 1872.¹ She married John Clifford Reeder on 12 February 1890 in Hendricks Co., Indiana.¹ Nellie died before 1909.¹

     Nellie Marie Laurence was born on 31 March 1894 in Spickardsville, Grundy Co., Missouri.¹ She married Charles Homer Husted on 22 August 1914 in Ashland, Clark Co., Kansas.¹ Nellie died on 16 May 1984 in Wichita, Sedgwick Co., Kansas, at age 90.¹

     Nellie Wood Lawrence was born circa 1901 in Kentucky.¹ She married Archie Moore.¹

     Nelson Lawrence was born on 17 January 1805 in Randolph Co., North Carolina.^1,2,3,4 He married Virginia Jane Edwards, daughter of Isaac Edwards and Nancy Ann Lawrence, on 20 March 1828 in Centreville, Bibb Co., Alabama.¹ Nelson died on 24 October 1879 in Alabama at age 74.¹

He was listed at age 45, occupation as a farmer with real estate value of $200, born in North Carolina. He was listed at age 55, occupation as a farmer with real estate value of $250 and personal estate value of $1,000, born in North Carolina. Also enumerated in the household: Virginia Jane Lawrence, Nancy E. Lawrence, Thomas Nelson Lawrence, John Edward Lawrence, Drayton Lawrence and Nelson Monroe Lawrence.³

     In the Census of 1870, enumerated 12 August 1870, Nelson Lawrence was listed as a head of household in Precinct 5, Baker Co., North Carolina. He was listed at age 65, occupation as a farmer with real estate value of $200 and personal estate value of $300, born in Alabama. Also enumerated in the household: Virginia Jane Lawrence, Nelson Monroe Lawrence, Nancy E. Lawrence, Emmett Cassie Lawrence and Elizabeth Lawrence.⁴

     Nelson Monroe Lawrence was born in July 1853 in Alabama.^1,2,3,4,5 Nelson died on 17 April 1922 at age 68.¹

     Nelson Monroe Lawrence was listed as a brother at age 46, occupation as a farm laborer, born in Alabama, in the household of John Edward Lawrence in Maplesville, Chilton Co., Alabama, in the Census of 1900 enumerated 14 June 1900.⁵

     Nelson Zeno Lawrence was born circa 1821 in Randolph Co., North Carolina.^1,2 He married first Delila Emiline Morgan on 28 January 1849 in Bibb Co., Alabama.^1,2 Nelson Zeno Lawrence married second Sarah Lucinda Lawrence, daughter of Branson Lawrence and Nancy Smitherman, in March 1866 in Bibb Co., Alabama.¹

     In the Census of 1850, enumerated 20 November 1850, Nelson Zeno Lawrence was listed as a head of household in E C River, Bibb Co., Alabama. He was listed at age 29, occupation as a farmer with no real estate value listed, born in North Carolina. Also enumerated in the household: Delila Emiline Lawrence.²

     Nettie Lawrence was born on 18 October 1883.¹ She married Will Grinstead, son of Bartholomew Warren Grinstead and Martha Lawrence, on 29 December 1902.¹ Nettie died on 8 July 1941 in Barren Co., Kentucky, at age 57.¹

     Nettie Corina Lawrence was born in June 1887 in Randolph Co., North Carolina.¹ She married Henry Edward Johnson on 20 August 1905 in Randolph Co., North Carolina.¹ Nettie died on 30 October 1938 at age 51.¹

     Newton Lawrence was born on 1 March 1858 in Tuscaloosa Co., Alabama.¹ He married first Tempie Mink.¹ Newton Lawrence married second Frances Isom.¹ Newton Lawrence married third Sarah Isom on 7 February 1901.¹ Newton died on 26 September 1930 in Alabama at age 72.¹ He was interred in Evergreen Cemetery in Tuscaloosa Co., Alabama.¹

     Nicholas died without issue.

     Nicholas Lawrence married Mary Moore, daughter of Richard Moore.²

     Schuyler Lawrence, without any real documentary evidence, believes this Nicholas to possibly be the Nicholas Lawrence of Agercroft who had eight sons by his wife Mary and founded lines of some wealth and position, rather than Nicholas, son of Robert Lawrence and brother of Sir James Lawrence as many pedigrees indicate. He believes that Nicholas, brother of Sir James, must have died without issue otherwise the Lawrence lands would have passed through Nicholas instead of through the sisters of Sir James.²

     Noah Lawrence was born on 3 November 1760.¹
