     Jacob Jr. and his wife went to Washington Co., Tennessee and purchased land in Flourville (Knob Creek). He went with a group of ministers. According to family legend, they returned to Virginia to take their families to Tennessee, but Jacob died of fever prior to 27 April 1789. After his death, Susannah and five of their seven children went to claim the land.5
