Narrative

There was another David Leonard, son of John J. Leonard, in this same time frame. It appears that some researchers may have mixed the two families up. It's had to distinqush the families as neither can be found in the 1900 U. S. Census. Only one of the Davids can be found on the 1910 and 1920 U. S. Census and both appear to be deceased by the 1930 U. S. Census. I've tried to piece the two families together from what sources I can find and welcome any comments and/or corrections.

Additionally, on the 1910 U. S. Census it indicates that this family has 10 children with all 10 living. When I assemble all of the information I can find there appears to be 11 children.
