Children of John and Emma:

Narrative

John appears on the 1880 census in the household of James and Margaret at age 8. It appears that he is probably Margaret's son from her first marriage. What is not cleared is whether he was adopted by James and took the last name of Lawrence or not. On the 1900 and 1910 U. S. Census he is listed with the surname of Crimmons so I assume he was not adopted by James.1

Nancy A. Fronabarger/Fronebarger1

#35360, b. circa 1865, d. circa 1899

Major Life Events

Nancy A. Fronabarger/Fronebarger was born circa 1865 at Tennessee.2 She married Thomas S. Burnett, son of William M. Burnett and Leticia Sharp, on 23 October 1879.1 Nancy died circa 1899.1

Child of Nancy and Thomas:

Narrative

York in his articles on Jeremiah Burnett published in Tennessee Ancestors does not mention Nancy as a daughter of William M. Burnett. She appears in the 1880 in his household listed as a daughter. However she does not appear in the 1870 census when she would have been five years old. I believe she may actually be a daughter-in-law, the Nancy A.Fronabarger/Fronebarger who married William's son Thomas in 1879.

U. S. Census Records

Census1880Nancy A. Burnett was listed as a daughter(-in-law?) At age 15, born in Tennessee, in the household of William M. Burnett at Cross Roads, Sevier Co., Tennessee, in the Census of 1880 enumerated 1 June 1880.3
